As it is so important that our patients feel comfortable at the our clinic, we have a team of highly experienced dental practitioners and nurses who are dedicated to enhancing your dental experience. Here at Meili Dental Care, we aim to make you feel relaxed and provide you with the best quality of care.

It is an absolute privilege to be serving the Hurstville community, and we treat all our patients here with the utmost respect and care. We offer tea/coffee/water when you come in. You can watch your favorite Netflix show/movie at reception, or even on the ceiling during dental treatment. We want our patients to feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed so that you enjoy your visits and come back regularly in order to maintain your oral health for life.

Meet the Team

Dr Lena Qiu

Dentist

Dr Lena was born at St George Hospital, two suburbs away and went to Hurstville Public School. She has lived in the Hurstville area for over 30 years, and is as local, as a local can get. She graduated from the Bachelor of Oral Health (USyd) as an Oral Health Therapist and focused on treating children and preventing gum and bone disease. She then continued her studies by completing the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD, UWA), Building Meili Dental Care has been a dream for Dr Lena, as she has helped the Hurstville locals with creating beautiful smiles. Dr Lena is a passionate dentist who loves to help people smile. She believes that all of her patients are an extension of her family, and believes everybody deserves the confidence to smile.

Dr Lena has special interests in:

Implant surgery
Orthodontics, including clear aligner therapy
General dentistry
Getting people out of pain

Outside of the clinic, she loves eating delicious foods, travelling, the beach, and spending time with her daughter, Meili.

Dr Sabiha Bhaiyat

Dentist

Dr Sabiha Bhaiyat graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2011 and has achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Orthodontics. She is a gentle and caring dentist who builds honest and sincere relationships with her patients and is passionate about improving dental health and creating beautiful smiles. With a friendly chairside manner and commitment to excellence, she provides comprehensive care to each patient, creating personalised treatment to achieve optimal results. With a thirst for continuining her knowledge in the dental field, she regularly attends dental seminars and conferences to stay up to date with the latest techniques, technology, and materials to deliver bespoke treatment options for every patient

Dr Bhaiyat has special interests in:

Wisdom Teeth Removal
Cosmetic Dentistry, including teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, and aesthetic treatments
Orthodontics, including clear aligner therapy and teeth straightening

When Dr Sabiha isn't busy caring for her patients, she enjoys badminton, travelling, socialising, and spending time by the ocean.

Kassandra Bulaong

Oral Health Therapist

Kassandra is a dedicated Oral Health Therapist who is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. She raduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Healthy who focusses on preventative care and educating her patients on oral health. She is known for her gentle and caring approach, creating a comfortable environment where patients of all ages feel at ease during their visits.

Kassandra is committed to helping patients improve their oral health through personalised treatment and guidance. She regularly continues her professional development to stay up to date with the latest techniques and advancements in dental care.

Kassandra has particular interests in:

Teeth Cleans and Gum Health Treatments
